Firstly, I love food. I know I’m not the only one who feels the same way, I love everything about it, the smell, the texture, the colour and of course the taste. I’m going to try to simplify restaurant style cooking and filter it down to my home, and hopefully yours. I guess this blog is digital cookbook and referencing tool, mainly to stop me forgetting what I’ve done and also the things I’ve learned, enjoyed and disliked. I’ll be documenting, adding to and perfecting recipes over time by using this blog and any comments posted by readers.
I wanted to share using this medium to allow the largest possible viewing spectrum because, let’s face it, no chef (home or pro) can learn and progress unless people try their food.

Mostly I’m going to try to blog in real time, as I’m cooking, so if you choose to follow me, you might get a live recipe which is pretty cool right?

Lastly, feedback is so important to me as eventually, I hope, I’m going to try to make the transition from home chef to profession kitchen chef. I’ve always wanted my own small bistro/cafe with equally small seasonal menu. Great tasting food, presented well.
